Food Network? Iron Chef? Throwdown? Tater Tot




DeRose - Spicy shrimp with andouille sausage on grits - YUMMMMM





Ok - My bride posted a pic on her blog of a great dinner we had Saturday night over at friends house. Hot Sausage, Shrimps and a bed of Creamy Grits. Got me thinking of some less fancy but still pretty good foods I had while in college where the $$ were not as available ........ so here is mine as made a few years back and the recipe from college days at Western Michigan University as a Bronco in Kalamazoo.



TATER TOT CASSEROLE

1 can cream of mushroom soup, 1 bag tater tots, 1 bag frozen corn, 1 lb of ground hamburger meatserves: 6 or 7
Brown hamburger meat. Place in bottom of glass casserole dish, cover with mushroom soup from can, layer with frozen corn. Lay tater tots neatly on top of the mixture. (or messily)
Place in oven on 350' and let the tater tots brown.
ENJOY.

you gave me this when ryan and i were dating. it's scratched on a little like ripped quarter sheet of paper. we still have it. it's awesome. i haven't it yet, due to ryan's premature hatred for anything that has "casserole" in the title....i would really like to, though...

I'll take the shrimp & grits, we always recall recipes with fondness then when we make them it just isn't the same, tater tot casserole being one of them.
