A few more Cycles from the show

The Softail Deluxe is a very nice retro looking Harley. I prefer the Charcoal color, however, Noreen likes this particular one.

Noreen's comment was "I like that, it looks like I could ride it." Another decade or two and maybe I could convince her to

ride. Ha Ha

The Victory Vegas 8-Ball, Everyone at the show had a blacked out version of motor scooter. And they all looked pretty good that way.

Give me Back my Bullets!

The Bullet in print and available NOW, and as seen live in "De-Troy-It".

As Lynard Synard once said in Song .................."Gimme back my bullets....Put em back where they belong.......Aint foolin around cause I done had my fun..............Aint gonna see no more damage done.............Gimme back, gimme back my bullets.............Oh, put em back... where they belong"

PoLiTiCs

I don't want to have this blog turn into a political venue, however, a friend of mine sent me this cartoon and it made me chuckle ................ for those of you old enough to remember the tragedy that was caused by our beloved Democrat Extraordinaire Mr Teddy Kennedy. Here you go ................................................................... for those younger folk that have not heard of Chappaquiddick, here you go: http://www.ytedk.com/ ...................................................

67th Annual Black Hills Motor Classic (Part 6)

I am not sure what day we are on for the Sturgis Trip, but here is post #6. Started the morning with a shower and a trip down to the Pancake Breakfast put together by "Sons of Light" motorcycle ministry and they were pretty good, especially because they were free, all you needed to do was make a donation if you could afford it. Once again the weather was perfect for the days ride.

Our trailer turned out to be very, very comfortable with the air conditioning, shower, fridge, and soft chairs.

Cooling off before the next ride.

We even had some patio furniture and $20K Footstools made by the Motor Co.

Oh, and did I mention they did not require shirts?

Theme of this Blog - Cycles, Cars, Clowns?

Where did I get so off track from my Harley Riding Blogger mission statement? Well it's my blog and these times are a changing just like all the candidates are saying CHANGE

is here. Since it is winter and I am in the snow country riding has been somewhat difficult so I am posting whatever I feel like .............................................................................................................. Here is a picture of my better half and I cruising the beautiful country side in our new copper corvette! Well, maybe it's a pic taken at the Auto Show. That's it for now.

Super Heros ? Motivational Poster # 5?

NINJA MANS

This is wrong on so many levels! But it made me laugh.

Ural - Russiun Made Motor Cycle

http://www.imz-ural.com/ I did not know you could buy these. We saw them in China when we were there visiting the Great Wall in 2006 ( See picture below) But here they are in the Cleveland Motorcycle Show. Check out the site, they seem pretty cool, even a 2 wheel drive version. They have quite a selection of bikes with sidecars as well as a ride club.

Harley Davidson Softail Cross Bones Unveiled

Here are some close up pics of the new Cross Bones from the Dark Side Collection. This was at the Cleveland
Motorcycle Show. The polished rocker covers and primary etc looks real nice.

The seat is comfortable!! and the frame cover looks nicer than I thought it would.

The flat black paint and old school pin stripe is sweet.

The chrome springer front end over the black forks with black headlight and apes look great together, Old School!

Sweet striping with a fat front tire.
And after all is said and done ....... the ride seems like it would be awesome! Enjoy!!

Wow! I really like it! More in person than the press release photo.

Clowns are Scary

Most times clowns just creep me out. I am not sure why, maybe a movie I saw along the way drove IT home. This is a cool Vid even with the scary BOZO.

Harley Nightster

From the same family that the Cross Bones comes from is the baby brother (smaller, faster) Nightster ............... I love the Old School Look of this family of bikes, apparently so do many other folks out there. One will be mine ..... oh yes ..... one will be mine!!!!

Motivational Poster # 2

This one reminds me of Toby & Sady down there in Tampa town. Toby seems to be the one that is always picked on by Sady, however, when we are not looking I think Toby kicks some major Sady-Ass. These Cats are Fast-as-Lightning!!!! Again is this Chuck Norris incarnate? The look in the eyes of the Dog is pure Horror, the look in the cat's eyes is concentration, determination, preservation and revenge served cold!

Those Cats were fast as lightning! You Go Toby!! All we need is a White Rat biting the cats ear and we would have a post like the Santa Barbara post a few months ago.

Camaro

Even in Plain-Jane Dress - it's White HOT!

Going to the big "D" for the North American Auto Show, so I may be off the air for a while, so here is something to drool over for now.

IRONY ??

Nuff Said ! I couldn't make this up. Drudge Report today.

MoViNg aVaTaR #2

I Like this one! It reminds me of riding which I can't do up here in the great white north where its 19 degrees and snowing. What have I done? Oh What Have I done? Remember you may have to click on the picture to see movement. I need to figure out how to plug in some music ................................. I think "Born to be Wild" would be in order for this particular Avatar.

11 Degree Weather

The Wife is coming to visit this weekend along with some friends. We are going to attend the NA Auto Show in "De-Friggin-Troy-It" and the weather looks like it will be C-O-L-D !!!!! It is taking some time to get used to the 30, and 20 degree days, but now they are talking 11 degrees, with a windchill of -10 for the weekend. Hooray for the North!!

67th Annual Black Hills Motor Classic (Part 5)

All right, where were we? The next day of the rally was more of the same B,B, &B (Babes, Bikes & Beer) as we road around looking at all that these rallies have to offer. The weather was fantastic, warm with no rain in the entire weeks forecast.

Enjoying a cold one on a beautiful set of upholstered rocking chairs, brought in special for the event, I am Certain.

Mom & Noreen, Girls if you are reading this - I am not a perv - just a healthy adult American male. I guess it is explained as visual stimuli. Part of the view in the Wild, Wild West, as natural at Bike Week as Mt Rushmore & the Spearfish Canyon.

Yeah Baby!!!!

Well anyway, fun was had by all, as we took in most of what Sturgis had to offer in the heat of August. Stay tuned for more adventures.

Everybody was Kung Fu Fighting

OK - Here is a another that made me LOL while sitting in my office!!! It's not motorcycle related, but as I said before, it's my Blog so get over it!!! I wish I was able to be as awesome as this guy with his Steven Segal Physical Abilities............................................................................. Could this be Chuck Norris in disguise? I think maybe. He is a force to be reckoned with, as he flies through the air like a silent Collegiate Ninga Man............................................................................................. Huckabee Baby I am on your side as we fight the evil forces of DEADLOCK politician infighting!!!!

MoTiVaTiOn PoStErS

Another thing that I like a lot (hey it's my blog) is motivational posters to help shape your view of the world. Here is one of my favs. Everyone knows that a 7oo lb HD is not capable of popping a wheelie. Yeah right!

SideBar

I like Moving Avatars. I am not even sure what an Avatar is but I like them, in fact I find myself collecting them if I like them a Lot. So now I have all these moving Avatars locked up in my computer, which does not seem entirely fair to the Avatars and their relative ability for movement. My question is, If a moving Avatar is not being viewed, is it moving? Quite a quandary if I don't say so myself. Well anyway, enough deep thinking for one day. What I will attempt to do occasionally is to share my captured moving Avatars with you all on my blog ..... and in keeping with my theme of "scooter riding" you will notice that most of these are in fact two wheel related. So enjoy as I have ................... You may have to click on the image to see the movement ..... I don't know why that is, as I have successfully included several of these on my blog ..... I ride in my free time, rather than try and understand the inner workings of the bits & bites box on the floor by my feet.

67th Annual Black Hills Motor Classic (Part 4)

Well here we are at the FULL THROTTLE SALOON,

worlds largest Biker Bar on Day 1 of the rally!!!!

While at the saloon .............................. a wet T-shirt contest broke out with

crowds forming instantly from all over the place.

Look at the cameras, everyone

had one, as if this was a press conference

of sorts with visiting dignitaries.

Well ..... I guess it was special gathering

of visiting dignitaries including the reigning

champ from the 66Th Annual Black Hills Motor Classic. I can't really remember who won for the 67th.

Overall the crowd was well behaived, the beer was cold and it was nice to relax after

about 2,000 miles and a half dozen states. We were resting and getting

ready for the rest of the rally with all the events that bring 300,000 - 400,000
motorcyclists to the small town of Sturgis South Dakota.

As an ex-smoker I was delighted to see the larger than life SMOKING IS MANDATORY AREA where tires are burned for the entertainment of all.
