JANUARY 6--In a bizarre incident that will surely lead to litigation (or an out-of-court settlement), a skier at Colorado's ritzy Vail resort was left dangling upside down and pantsless from a chairlift last Friday morning. The January 2 mishap apparently occurred after the male skier and a child boarded a high-speed lift in Vail's Blue Sky Basin.

In voice of George from Seinfeld:
"Haven't you ever heard of SHRINKAGE!!!"
O.K., now you have my full attention!
I love to ski myself. I am not afraid of heights, as long as I have a feeling of control. When riding on a chair lift, especially one that does not recline much,I don't feel like I have much control. I've done it enough though so I can feel fairly comfortable on one. However, I always think about what it would be like to fall, especially when it starts to bounce, or sway.
I have always been amazed that they don't, A.) require the lap bar to be used, and B.) that the lap bar is not automated.
I guess my fears have come true for this poor fella.
LOL! Talk about a case of the blue balls! Yikes! Poor fella. He'll be like the skier on the "Wide World Of Sports" program introduction who was forever known as "the agony of defeat".
Ski poles?...we don't need no stinking ski poles! Ouch, worse than sticking your tongue on the frozen flagpole
Ouch!
Can't really tell from the faraway shot if it was his pants that held him up..or perhaps a version of the wet tongue.
perhaps not as it would STRECH credibility. lol
Just think - Hanging there in front of your kid and all of the world with your frozen junk exposed! Captured on film for all eternity - Years from now it will be like - Hey arernt you the kid who's dad hung nekkid upside down at Vail???
Now I know why I don't ski. Giant things might fall down on me:)
Like Harleys? You'll love this!
