Also preparing for another Asian Invasion trip to Hong Kong - Taiwan - Shanghai and coming back to DAYTONA BIKEWEEK when I return!!!! While bloggin on this Sunday morning I remembered taking a shot of a friend of mine who visited us in Charlotte for the weekend a few years back, and even though we no longer work together I will again spend some time with Roger in Shanghai. Here is a few pics of Roger on the Deuce and out about town with my girls. Blog you next from Asia!!

Chinese anyone? anyone?

Whaay Nee-how. Here I sit 12 hours ahead of you and I have a little free time to blog from the hotel computer. Traveling with just a blackberry ROCKS!! But blogging is a little difficult with the tiny keyboard. Having fun so far - but ready to come home. Have a few pics of China that I will post @ a later date. Have to go shoppin' and drinkin' tonight cause I fly out in the morning and it will force me to sleep on the plane. Large picture is Shanghai - The Bund at night. Small picture is Ningbo - 3 Rivers. Also went to Yantai by the sea!

Motorcycles spotted in China Part #1

Someone in my new place of employment asked me if there are motorcycle enthusiats in China, when it comes to Harley Davidson. As you may know there are two (2) official Harley Davidson dealerships now in China; 1 in Beijing and 1 in Shanghai. A friend of mine has vsisited the new dealership in Shanghai, and I have made several attempts to visit the shop in Beijing although each time the cabbie brougth me to a Iron Horse Knock-Off shop. Anyway, in my travels through the many cities of China over the last 4 years I have tried to snap pictures of each 2 wheel enthusuiast that I have run accross and I will post them here for everyone's enjoyment (or at least mine), so here you go.

China Motorcycles

My love for motorcycling was evident when I visited China for the 1st time. Easy Rider was shot in Shanghai. The others were from Beijing where cycles are used for basic transportation rather than joy riding as it is here in the US. Here are a few from China to enjoy.
