105th Day 4 - The Museum (Cont again & again & again)

Easy Rider Bikes were also displayed along with Harley Davidson's cultural impact on movies, music, and life itself from Then Came Bronson (which only ran for one season in 1969-70) to Elvis, Wild Ones and all the other classics that we grew up with.

The Billy Bike

Well that wraps up our tour of the HD Museum - I would say that if you find yourself in Milwaukee, say for the 110th, 115th, or 120th - The museum is a definite must see!!!

Motorcycles spotted in China Part #1

Someone in my new place of employment asked me if there are motorcycle enthusiats in China, when it comes to Harley Davidson. As you may know there are two (2) official Harley Davidson dealerships now in China; 1 in Beijing and 1 in Shanghai. A friend of mine has vsisited the new dealership in Shanghai, and I have made several attempts to visit the shop in Beijing although each time the cabbie brougth me to a Iron Horse Knock-Off shop. Anyway, in my travels through the many cities of China over the last 4 years I have tried to snap pictures of each 2 wheel enthusuiast that I have run accross and I will post them here for everyone's enjoyment (or at least mine), so here you go.

China Motorcycles

My love for motorcycling was evident when I visited China for the 1st time. Easy Rider was shot in Shanghai. The others were from Beijing where cycles are used for basic transportation rather than joy riding as it is here in the US. Here are a few from China to enjoy.
